My objective was to design a book to talk about legendary hackers and a story behind them.
Originally, “hacker” did not carry the negative connotations now associated with the term. The ﬁrst and original computer hackers emerged in the 1960s at MIT. However, the word “hack” signiﬁed a totally different meaning then. At that time, it referred to an elegant and clever technique of doing almost anything on the computer.

The Little Things
Create a promotion book for a paper company. Speckletone from French Paper Company is the first ever recycled paper with flecks and shives. The texture of Speckletone inspired me to create a book of insects that are beneficial to human life.
We often forget how important insects are. The idea of this book is to explore beneficial insects and introduce them via Speckletone from the French Paper Company.

To create a new identity system for the San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program. The founders of this program believe that no child should be without a toy during the holiday season. Founded in 1949, it is the oldest program of its kind in the United States and the City’s largest program.
This was a group project in collaboration with the San Francisco Fire Department. The objective was to upgrade the look of the SFFD Toy Program identity. The idea behind the new design is “Present your heart.” Our group decided to keep the famous teddy bear icon of SFFD and include other icons that represent the holiday season. We also designed a poster with the new identity and attached one to each of the donation barrels.
Rebranding, Airline, Style Guide ____
To redesign the Korean Air logo and develop its application system. Korean Air is the most well-known airline of South Korea.
The original logo uses Taegukgi, the main symbol on the flag of South Korea. It is a traditional symbol with colors representing the philosophy of yin and yang. The new brand identity will reflect the spirit and value of Korean Air and convey both modern and traditional aspects. The new Korean Air logo incorporates the symbol of Geon from Taegukgi, which means sky, east, and humanity. Blue represents the negative cosmic forces, and red represents the opposing positive cosmic forces.
Typography, Conference ____
To create a typography conference that presents a study of the relationship between memory and typeface. This project is based on scientific research that reveals how typefaces can improve human memory.
Package Design ____
Pick an existing company and create a new line of skincare products for the brand. For this project, I chose Lacoste—a French apparel company founded in 1933 that sells high-end clothing, footwear, perfume, accessories, and, most famously, tennis shirts. The challenge was to expand the company's style and culture into a different product. This project included designing and fabricating all of the cosmetic bottles as well as a 3D product display stand.
ACE is a line of skincare products for men only, especially 20-30 year olds who enjoy outdoor activity and have an interest in skincare. The name ACE is a term often associated with successful sports moves. The abstract imagery on the bottles is designed to suggest the dynamic movement of a bouncing ball. The display stands reflect the three colors of the French flag.

To create a new brand identity for Negra Modelo beer and make the brand more unique and memorable. Also, to create compelling packaging that stands out in the retail marketplace.
Negra Modelo beer has its own unique and memorable bottle shape. The new logo takes the form of a famous landmark, the Angel of Independence. This gives Negra Modelo a new identity rising out of its culture.
